St. Michael Prayer

St. Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle. Be our safeguard against the wickedness and snares of the devil. May God rebuke him, we humbly pray, and do, thou, O Prince of the Heavenly Host, by the Power of God, cast into hell satan and all of the evil spirits who prowl about the world seeking the ruin of souls. Amen.

Glory to God in the Highest!

Ending the Week in Praise and Thanksgiving!

"Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, Rejoice. Let your gentleness be known to everyone. The Lord is near.

Do not worry about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."
Philippians 4: 4-7

1) God gives us so many blessings each day.  There are blessings we see, and there are blessings we don't see.
One thing I know is a blessing from God is
ICE CREAM!
A trip to Sonic, and Pixie and I had a sunday to share but, she didn't get too much because I got the rest.

For the ice cream, I do thank You, Lord!

2) It's a little bit early, but the normally high temperatures of August, haven't been so high, and the weather is cooling down a bit.  We haven't had a frost yet, but there will be one soon.
For the good weather, we thank You, Lord!

3) Today, after about 5 weeks, I was able to return to Eucharistic adoration.  What a beautiful gift that is from God!  We are able to see Our God and Savior in that host in the monstrance.  We are able to be in the same room with Him as we pray.  The graces were flowing.  I was filled with peace.

For the Gift of Eucharistic Adoration, we thank You, Lord!

"Every generous act of giving, with every perfect gift, is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow due to change."
James 1: 17

"If you then, who are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good things to those who ask him!"
Matthew 7:11

"For I the Lord do not change; therefore you, O children of Jacob, have not perished."
Malachi 3:6
