St. Michael Prayer

St. Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle. Be our safeguard against the wickedness and snares of the devil. May God rebuke him, we humbly pray, and do, thou, O Prince of the Heavenly Host, by the Power of God, cast into hell satan and all of the evil spirits who prowl about the world seeking the ruin of souls. Amen.

Glory to God in the Highest!

Finding God in the Everyday....

The blessings and gifts flow from God.  All we have to do is be aware so that we can thank the Holy One for His kindnesses towards us.

As a Father, God seeks to take care of His Children.

As an older brother, the Son suffered and died so that we could be His friends, no longer a slave to sin.
The older brother won heaven for us.

As the Spirit, He is the leader, the counselor, the guide.
He leads us where we never thought we would go.  He blesses us and seeks to keep us on the right path.

As the Mother of God has spoken,
"Holy is His Name."

Miracles, such as instantaneous healings from diseases such as cancer, do happen, but they are rare.  Some people are blessed with gifts such as bilocation and the ability to read souls, but these people are rare.  Yet, everyday, miracles do happen.  God reaches down from heaven and touches our souls, but we have to be aware of the Divine in our everyday lives.

When the Divine touches you, you will never be the same.  Trust me, it is impossible.

How has the Divine God touched your life today?
What are the gifts you have received?
Did your children say, "I love you!"
Did your cat let you pet her today?
Did your dog give you kisses?
(The Divine touched your life.)
Did you have lunch today?
Did you have food in your refrigerator?
Did you have shoes to wear to work?
Did you find that perfect outfit for work?
(The Divine touched your life?)
Was the sun shining, even if it was behind clouds?
Was the air clean that you breathed?
Did your computer work?
Did your spouse smile that special smile for you?
(The Divine touched your life?)
How did you sleep?
Do you feel rested?
Are you looking forward to a nap?
(The Divine touched your life.)
What about the things we didn't see or know?
We'll never know how God intervened and we were spared.
And
Holy is His Name!
